Ashly is an Oakland native who is passionate about empowering people in her hometown to use their God-given gifts to become agents of change. Having completed her MA in Intercultural Studies at Fuller Theological Seminary in 2021, she is committed to coming alongside organizations and churches to help them reveal the love of God to their communities. As a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God Fellowship, Ashly has over 10 years of experience in church leadership, specializing in leadership development and spiritual formation. She currently serves as the pastor of communities at Encounter Church in San Leandro, California. In her spare time, you may find Ashly at local street festivals, eating out with friends, or reading and journaling by the water at Jack London Square in Oakland.
