Amy Drennan

Executive Director

Before joining FSF, Amy’s journey included campus ministry with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, marriage and family therapy, and spiritual direction, along with over a decade of leadership at Fuller Seminary as Executive Director of the Office of Spiritual Formation. She also serves as an executive coach and organizational leadership consultant. As an Affiliate Professor at Fuller, she teaches emotional health, adaptive leadership, and spiritual direction.

She earned her B.A. in Speech Communication, with minors in Spanish and Religion, from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, followed by dual master’s degrees in Intercultural Studies and Marriage and Family Therapy at Fuller Seminary. She later completed her Ph.D. in Higher Education at Azusa Pacific University, where her dissertation, Attitudes and Behaviors that Enable Leaders in Evangelical Protestant Seminaries to Engage in Adaptive Work, reflects her commitment to helping leaders cultivate resilience and respond to organizational change with wisdom.

Amy is passionate about integrative spiritual formation that engages the whole of life. She lives in Southern California, where she loves being outdoors—especially hiking with her energetic Boxer, Toby. She rarely turns down a street taco with extra guacamole—especially if the salsa is spicy enough to make you cry.
